Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our accounting department.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing invoices, managing expense reports, and ensuring timely payments to vendors.
Responsibilities:
- Process account payable transactions in compliance with financial policies and procedures - Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording accounts payable data - Prepare account payable checks to include sorting and stuffing envelopes - Review purchase orders, delivery slips, invoices and checks for accuracy Requirements:
- 1-2 years of experience in an AP position - Knowledge of accounting software such as Excel and Sage helpful - Excellent organizational skills - Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information Job Type:
