About The RoleThe Site Senior Manager of Supply Chain is the leader for all tactical and strategic Supply Chain functions for production at Hauppauge.
Situated at Spellman World Headquarters, this visible position will implement continuous improvement of planning, procurement and lean processes across the Hauppauge site.
You will focus on leading the site annual supply chain macro plan, leading site SIOP, planning maturity, kaizen events, tiered accountability, visual controls, and leader standard work.
You will also lead the analysis of Customer Inbound Forecasts, Monitoring, Planning, Forecasting, Life Cycle Management, and Supply Chain Flow.
Reporting to the VP, Global Supply Chain, you will lead site Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning Processes and the governance system that improves operational efficiencies, optimizes inventory performance while simultaneously improving service levels.
Responsible for managing the monthly SIOP governance with direct responsibility for aligning supply to the global demand planning process.
In addition, you will develop and execute a strategic plan to provide support and continuously improve knowledge, skills and the learning environment in a mid-size, high mix, multinational engineering, and manufacturing organization.
What You Will DoLead all aspects of site master scheduling, planning, procurement and logistics focused on customer On Time Delivery (OTD), past due reduction and inventory optimization.
Influence the demand planning process.
Lead the execution and continuous improvement of the site monthly SIOP process to include demand planning, supply planning and revenue/inventory forecasting.
Improve the Global planning process and how demonstrated capacities (by Product Family, FG, and Sub Assembly) will be maintained / utilized.
Update, develop, & create actionable plans to improve Forecasting Demand, RCCP, and Inventory Techniques.
Establish effective partner relationships with Business Development Managers, Sales / Customers Lead key business reviews manage metrics & performance to customer demand.
Collect and analyze changes in Sales / Customer Forecasts to identify patterns, timing, accuracy, and risks leading to internal changes in scheduling (by family, by item, by customer).
Work with sales to create measurable value by optimizing and identifying patterns in customer demand data.
Monitor and communicate significant changes in pricing, market drivers, and availability on key commodities, services, and raw materials.
Work with Planning, Logistics, Inventory, Procurement, and Production teams to set up systems and tools which promote customer OTD, inventory balance, and optimal cost / throughput.
Evaluate and organize data, creating valuable insight which can be used to take immediate and long-term action.
Develop and maintain key components, sub-assemblies & finished goods supply plans for manufacturing operations to meet customer demand (orders and forecast) within operational resources while achieving inventory and cost objectives.
Provide strategic what if analysis for short- and long-term planning horizon that include both commercial and R&D requirements.
Ensure regular and timely meetings occur, metrics are reported and leveraged to guide future decision making where relevant.
Assist in the preparation of executive SIOP materials to provide visibility to key demand, supply, capacity, service and performance areas.
Develop finished goods inventory plans each period as a part of the Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning (SIOP) cycle to solve for capacity constraints and inventory requirements using the demand forecast and agreed inventory policies.
Analyze forecast performance and identify major forecast variances and continuous improvement.
Challenge input data against history, market trends and strategy.
Lead root-cause-analysis and forecast accuracy initiatives to minimize risk of reoccurrence.
Support the execution of global production planning.
Document and communicate key actions and decisions to drive organizational alignment around the optimized plan.
Collaborate and partner closely with Sales, Operations, Product Line Management, Engineering, and Finance to develop accurate demand plans and the optimized supply plan of record.
Identify supply and demand issues (and gaps to plan), identify scenarios to mitigate, and prepare recommendations for senior leadership review.
Integrate key processes including but not limited to customer forecasts, statistical forecast models, installed based service models, market intelligence, inventory plans, product life cycle plans, operational capabilities, and external supply chain partners to generate an optimized global plan.
Support overall roadmap to achieve objectives, including process, application support tools, policies, and control mechanisms.
Drive improvement in SIOP process maturity and lead key process improvement initiatives.
Define opportunities for improvement driven by operational excellence, customer satisfaction and cost reduction.
Drives implementation efficiently utilizing team resources and in close collaboration with other functions and departments.
Comply with the Health, Safety and Environment Policy, following the procedures and work instructions applicable to his/her activities for the participation in the established Objectives and Goals.

What You NeedBachelor s Degree in Business or Supply Chain Management.
MBA preferred.
Minimum of 10 years progressive experience in supply chain leadership driving results in OTD and inventory.
SIOP and Change Management expertise and certification preferred.
Lean or Six Sigma Certification preferred.
APICS CPIM or CSCP certification preferred.
Demonstrated results in building planning and procurement skills and competencies as well as developing succession plans and developing people.
Experience in managing the effectiveness of support and responsiveness of the IT Network and ERP systems.
Previous experience in developing multi-year forecasts as well as annual fiscal budgets.
Participate in the planning and leadership physical inventories with experience in implementing cycle counting programs a plus.
Excellent ERP System expertise, with experience in the implementation and upgrade of ERP systems preferably in Glovia.
Superb presentations skills required.
High proficiency in Excel and Powerpoint.
Self-motivated and innovative.
Strong attention to detail and attitude of ownership of work performed.
Ability to multi-task within a dynamic environment.
Fluent in English and Spanish preferred.
Our good faith estimate of the salary range for this role is $135,000 - $175,000.
Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and other factors.
