Summary:
Receives/scans documents and prepares them for off-site storage.
Retrieves, prints and distributes previously scanned documents requested by members and staff.
Ensures department logs and document related equipment are maintained.
EDUCATION and/or
Experience:
A high school education or GED required Microsoft Word and Excel required Computer, customer service, multitasking skills, detail orientation and the ability to work independently and as a team player required.
Knowledge of documentation storage-related procedures and equipment preferred ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Receive documents submitted by staff and prepare them for scanning.
Review screen image to ensure information is legible and adjust the image.
Scan documents, ensure they are saved under the appropriate category (e.
g.
, Stop Payment Request, Power of Attorney, etc.
) and in multiple member files, and that files are appropriately cross referenced.
Contact staff to provide instructions on completing request forms, obtain additional information required for document scanning, clarify where documents should be saved, resolve issues, etc.
Receive requests for scanned/microfilmed documents from members and staff, conduct research to locate them, and print/provide copies.
Ensure that all requests and related notes/information are logged.
Ensure that equipment is in good working condition and advise the supervisor of the need for maintenance/repairs.
Sort department mail into appropriate categories.
Utilize proprietary systems to access request forms and enter status of requests.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
