Customer Service Representative/Call Center (Bilingual-spanish)

High School Diploma or GED required.
MUST BE FLUENT IN ENGLISH & SPANISH.
Candidate must have strong communication and computer skills.
Must be organized, multi-task oriented, energetic, possess a positive and professional attitude.
Responsibilities include:
Answer telephone promptly in a polite and professional manner Obtain and enter accurate demographic information into EMR (address, telephone number, name of Primary and secondary insurance or self-pay status) Schedule appointment for patients - making sure to review appointment date, time, and provider name with caller.
Inform caller of items to bring to appointment (including insurance card, immunization record, medication list, discharge paperwork from hospital, office visit fee- if applicable).
Remind caller to arrive 10 to 15 minutes before scheduled appointment to complete paperwork.
Remind caller of cancellation/no-show policy Direct calls to other departments as needed.
Use sound judgment in handling calls, especially with upset patients.
Understanding of when to escalate calls to physicians/practice manager Provide assistance with mailings and other projects as call volume permits.
Other reasonably related duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.
