Licensed Master Social Worker 1 (LMSW1)- EOA#2023-316

Under the supervision of the DDPS 2 Housing Lead, the LMSW1 will be responsible for the following tasks:
o Monitor and track all certified state and voluntary-operated residential opportunities including relocations to the region. o Complete intake process for new housing referrals o Maintain data entry to the CRO database and tracking referral and placement activity o Active participant on the Regional Certified Residential Opportunities (CRO) Team and the Access to Residential Opportunities Committee (AROC). o Maintain oversight for all residential referral and screening activities for the Regional Office Housing Team in accordance with the OPWDD Statewide Prioritization Criteria. o Assist in tracking and facilitation of Director-to-Director Requests for individual relocations. o Maintain and monitor residential due process notifications. o Compile and generate requested reports for Central Office, DDRO and unit as required. o Assist in all requested unit initiatives and special projects including participation in associated interdepartmental, regional and statewide workgroups/committees, as assigned. Selection Criteria:
o Possess excellent and professional communication, public speaking, writing and organizational skills. o Ability to initiate and maintain working relationships with individuals served, families, advocates, community representatives, voluntary providers, DDRO and DDSOO agency staff. o Computer knowledge and ability to maintain databases and monitoring systems. o Ability to work independently and as part of a team as required o Possess acceptable time and attendance work record. o Ability to participate in requested functions and activities during evening hours and weekends as requested.

Salary Range:
From $61270 to $77912 Annually
Minimum Qualification
TRANSFER OPPORTUNITIES:
Candidates must have one year permanent competitive or 55-b/c service in this title and be eligible for lateral transfer; OR be eligible for transfer via Section 70.1 of Civil Service law. To qualify for Section 70.1 transfer, candidates must be licensed and currently registered by New York State as a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and have at least one year of permanent competitive or 55-b/c service in a title approved for transfer by Civil Service within two salary grades of the Grade 20 level. MINIMUM
Qualifications:
Either A. licensed and currently registered by New York State as a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) AND have one year of post NYS licensure professional social work experience. OR B. licensed and currently registered by New York State as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
