The Creative Group is representing a Long Island-based advertising agency in its search for an Account Director. The Account Director will be responsible for three different accounts, providing leadership to an Account Executive and/or Associate, and reporting the VP of Account Service.
The Account Director should have strong leadership skills, but also thrive in a collaborative, hands-on environment where every member of the team rolls up their sleeves to contribute. This role is equal parts strategic and tactical, conceiving and implementing integrated campaigns across print, broadcast, out-of-home, and digital, including full web builds. As many of the agency's clients are in financial
, prior experience in financial services is essential.
- 5+ years of marketing and/or advertising experience
- Experience in the financial services industry
- Experience developing integrated campaigns, including both digital and traditional
- Proven strategic abilities in addition to strong, hands-on, tactical implementation skills
- Experience leading/mentoring junior team members
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, communications, or related field
- Proximity to central Long Island
- Credit union experience
- New business development experience
- Front-end web development skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
