PURPOSE and SCOPE:
The Engineering Aide assembles and tests advanced level Finished Goods as well as standard level, passive RF components to meet stock and customer delivery dates. The Engineering Aide ensures that the product is assembled and tested following approved, established methods that are documented in product drawings and is capable of suggesting and testing changes to these methods. In addition, the aide performs MIL-STD and Hi-Rel testing per SOP to verify product meets customer requirements. The Production Technician reports to the Production Supervisor.

Responsibilities:
Assembles standard and advanced level components using standard and specially designed hand tools, and following Established Methods as described in Assembly Drawings, EQAI's etc.
Tests components on vector network analyzers, power setups and other equipment, following Established Methods as described in Outline Drawings, ATP, s etc.
Reads, interprets and verifies accuracy of documented Established Methods which include Assembly Drawings, EQAI's and other related documents for assembly instructions; Outline Drawings, ATP's and other related documents for test instructions.
Reads and understands MIL-STD documents defining test methods, Quality AQL charts for sampling plans, and customer documents defining product requirements. Performs testing based on these documents without di5rect supervision.
Evaluates simple or straightforward proposed changes to Established Method of assembly, test or other documented procedures, by making the change in a controlled situation, collecting data, then working with the Production Supervisor or engineering to document the change.
Verifies that completed product meets all documented specifications.
Schedules own work from the product backlog.
IS knowledgeable in theoretical and practical knowledge of the product
Goes Beyond trial and error troubleshooting techniques, using logical reasoning combined with produce knowledge to meet electrical specifications.
Interacts directly with engineering to solve mechanical or electrical problems.
Works from customer or engineering specifications to determine BOM, assembly and tuning methods for new models within their product line.
Notifies the Production Supervisor of orders that will not ship on time, cause of delay, and estimated recover time. Ability to communicate with sales/ supervisors on job status expedites and quotes.
Provides feedback to the Production Supervisor on observed trends, unusual failure conditions, deviations from written standards and suggested improvements in assembly/test methods.
Received feedback from the Production Supervisor concerning Inmet operating metrics that apply to their position and recognizes their responsibilities in contributing to these metrics.
Other duties as assigned by management.

KNOWLEDGE OR
Qualifications:
1. Ability to communicate with supervisors and co-workers.
2. Ability to adjust and perform in a fast paced environment.
3. Must have ability to be trained in various departments.
4. Must understand Safety and ISO System requirements and AS 9100 System requirements in Aeroflex.
5. Is capable of working independently in advanced level primary product or in several products.
6. Understands and performs Attenuation, VSWR, power or other standard product tests and can adapt these tests to new models being tested
7. Reads and follows documentation.
8. Proposes suggestions and changes to methods.
9. Follows reasoned-approach troubleshooting on assigned product and test setups.
10. High School Diploma or GED. Some college level electronics classes or experience in electronics related field a definite plus.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
