POSITION
Summary: Responsible for assisting and supporting division Finance Director and Finance team with financial analysis, review, Executive and Board level reporting, annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, company consolidation and other business related analyses and research in such areas as financial and expense performance, and statistical reporting. Duties include:
Learn system reporting requirements and become SME in running financial reports and analytics.
Liaise with accounting department in researching and resolving variances to trends or forecasts during the financial close process.
Assist in support of financial and trend analysis as well as ad-hoc reporting at the corporate level and expense cost centers in budgeting, monthly forecasting, and statistical reporting.
Preparation, reconciliation, review and formatting for monthly, quarterly, and annual Executive and Board presentations at the consolidated and divisional levels.
Compiling and maintaining standardized monthly metrics, scorecards and related reporting to assist Finance Directors and Presidents in evaluating business performance.
Reconcile and tie out various financial reporting for accuracy and consistency.
Support expense departments with time tracking for projects and preparing reporting on financial impacts.
Develop and/or maintain procedure documentation for current processes.
Other special projects as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting required.
Advanced MS Excel required; proficient in MS Office, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
Ability to gather and disseminate large amounts of data
Exceptional attention to detail and self-review.
Verbal and written communication skills at a professional level for contact with Executive staff
Self-starter capable of working with minimal supervision
Quick learner; able to take direction and work within a team environment
This position is deadline driven and requires flexibility in work schedule
PREFERENCE:
1 year work experience in financial analysis or related internships preferred.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
