Positive Behavioral Intervention Specialist

?Head Injury Association is seeking qualified PBIS staff to provides services to our traumatic brain injured population.? The?PBIS services are provided to DOH participants who have significant behavioral difficulties? that jeopardize their ability to remain in the community of choice due to inappropriate responses to events in the environment.? The primary goal of PBIS services is to decrease the intensity or frequency of targeted behaviors and to teach more socially appropriate behaviors.??

Requirements: Bachelors degree and 2 years experience providing services to the developmentally disabled population.

  • Bachelor?s Degree in human services.

  • Two? years of experience working with people with traumatic brain injury, other disabilities, or behavioral difficulties.

  • Valid NYS driver's license in good standing with no infractions.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
