Job Summary


Under close
supervision of the Hearing Aid Inventory Supervisor, the Hearing Aid Inventory Assembler
is responsible for final inner packaging and verification of BTE, BTE with
Shell attached and Dex orders.


Essential Responsibilities

  • Assembles inner packaging material
    for use on all BTE, BTE with Shell attached and Dex orders

  • Reviews
    pick ticket and ensures that all information requested on pick ticket is
    accurate

  • Verifies
    serial number written on order matches serial number on pick ticket

  • Verifies
    physical hearing aid color, model and style to that ordered on pickticket

  • Assembles
    RIC/RITE earwire to aid and/or to shell

  • Inserts
    color code indicators into aids based on left/right identification on order

  • Inserts/changes
    microphone grids, RIC (Passion) upper housings as needed

  • Connects
    all applicable hearing aids to Widex Service Program and/or FLEXTOOL program to
    verify technology levels, additional features and programmable options are as
    ordered

  • Packages
    hearing aids and Dex?s into presentation boxes and includes all necessary
    materials, including, but not limited to: wax guards, cleaning tools, cleaning
    cloths, batteries, warranty cards, and pouches.

  • Ensures
    all proper labeling is visible and neat on presentation boxes

  • Ensures
    all other parts and accessories placed on order are accompanied with inner pack
    material to Shipping Department

  • This position is also a backup for all
    other existing positions within the Stock & Supply Department.

  • Responsible to come
    to work consistently, on time and as scheduled.

  • Performs
    other duties and assignments as required.


Knowledge and Skills

  • High School Diploma
    or Equivalent.

  • Must be able to
    effectively communicate, read, and write in English.

  • Moderate P.C.
    Skills.

  • Must have effective
    communication skills

  • The ability to work
    under pressure, meet deadlines, and be flexible when working on multiple
    projects simultaneously.

While performing the duties of this job,

by this job include close vision, distance vision, and depth perception.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
