Applied Behavioral Specialist

The Head Injury Association is a rapidly growing prestigious not for profit Human Services Agency located on Long Island in Suffolk County. We have a proud history and been around since 1988. Our Agency provides services to the TBI, Developmentally Disabled and Autistic populations. We are looking for another full-time ¬ Behavioral Specialist to work in our Day Program. The primary responsibility of the ¬ Behavioral Specialist is the development, manage and implementation of behavioral services to the individuals served. The Behavioral Specialist is responsible for assessing the individuals, completing individual behavior plans to include objectives, methodologies, revisions and initiation dates. This position is also responsible for reviewing all behavioral reports and assessing for trends and making revisions to plans accordingly.¬ This is a full time position!


Requirements




  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Human Services.¬ Master's degree in Clinical treatment,¬ Psychology, Social Work or a Licensed Mental¬ Health¬ Counselor is¬ preferred!!


  • Must have at least¬ TWO¬ years experience working with the developmentally disabled ¬ population with behavioral challenges.


  • Must have a valid New York State driver's license.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
