Night Sanitation Manager ?


The Sanitation Manager acts as the point person for Safety, Sanitation and FDA compliance for our processing.? This position needs to assure compliance with all company and regulatory policies and procedures, such as NY STATE AGRI FDA. USDA, OSHA, GMP?s, HACCP, SSOP?S and RELATIVE SOP?S.? Supervises/Manages Sanitation Crew.




???????? Supervise, train and schedule all aspects of sanitation with assistance from maintenance and production

???????? Train employees in the proper use of cleaning supplies and techniques

???????? Ensure that all required QA documentation and inspection forms are turned in daily.?

???????? Ensure that employees are following all company safety procedures

???????? Schedule and distribute work assignments, by department on a daily basis.

???????? Walk around facility to monitor cleaning and sanitation processes to insure smooth flow of work.?

???????? Perform daily, weekly and monthly inspections; document findings and identify improvements to be made.

???????? Responsible for creating and following the Master Sanitation Schedule

???????? Delineate schedule and special projects across all three cleaning shifts; visiting each shift if necessary.

???????? Review and resolve operational problems from subordinates.

???????? Monitor performance of department subordinates to insure they follow established standards and procedures and disciplines as needed

???????? Function as a liaison with the Maintenance Department to assure the proper disassembly, cleaning and sanitizing of production equipment

???????? Support Maintenance in the reintroduction of repaired equipment on to the production floor ensuring proper sanitation.

???????? Assure that goals are achieved for a superior audit rating.

???????? Coordinate with sanitation chemical supplier on chemical inventory, and proper usage of chemical usage.?

???????? Insure all chemicals are utilized to their optimum performance.?

???????? Maintain Chemical Inventory, as well as issue PO?S with our current chemical supplier.

???????? Partner with Production, Maintenance and Quality Control departments to meet plant objectives.

???????? Attend staff meetings to discuss department performance and or relevant issues

???????? Adhere to all company policies and procedures including, SOP?s and GMP?s.


??????? Minimum of HS/GED degree.

??????? Higher related degree or certification is beneficial.?


??????? Minimum of 5 years? experience in similar position, particularly within a sanitation manufacturing environment, with proven, results oriented, skills and abilities.

??????? Organizational and team leadership competencies required.

??????? Basic technical know-how of diverse factory processes a plus.

??????? Knowledge of multi-culture work environment.

??????? Act as a professional at all times.

??????? Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.

??????? Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

??????? Ability to learn in-house ERP systems

??????? Ability to effectively communicate, both internal and external at all levels

??????? Provide rapid response to any inquiries

??????? Ability to collect, analyze and report all sanitation related performance results

??????? Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.


Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
