Sr. Manager, Amplifier Product Management

Narda-MITEQ is currently seeking a Sr. Manager Amplifier Product Management reporting to the Division President to lead our Amplifier Product Portfolio. We are looking for an experienced Product Manager who is passionate about building products that satisfy our customers challenging and unique requirements. You will join a fast-paced environment working with cross-functional teams to design, build and roll-out products that are used across defense, space, and commercial markets. The candidate will develop and implement product strategy across the organization while working closely with business development, engineering, manufacturing and finance. The candidate will manage a broad product profile with responsibility defining product positioning, pricing and promotion, and product line financials.

  • Managing Sales, Engineering, and Manufacturing to drive profitable revenue
  • Gain a deep understanding of customer experience, identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growth
  • Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners
  • Develop product pricing and positioning strategies
  • Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes
  • Scope and prioritize activities based on business and customer impact
  • Drive product launches, including working with public relations team, executives, and other product management team members
  • Conceive and execute promotional plans to be consistent with product line strategy
  • Develop, maintain and communicate current view of competitive environment
  • Apply market knowledge to translate sales forecast into annual product build plan
  • Leveraging market knowledge to build and maintain product roadmap


  • BS/MS in engineering or related discipline, required; MBA preferred
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in product or program management, specifically in the Defense/Industrial sector
  • Strong business and technical acumen
  • Experience managing a product management team or function
  • Experience creating product roadmaps and defining market strategy
  • Adept at sales support and proposal activities
  • Ability to facilitate collaboration with engineering teams and operations
  • Must be self-motivated and have the ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision in a highly visible, fluid environment
  • Demonstrated creativity, innovation and analysis in a sophisticated design environment
  • Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle
  • Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on design experience
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Skilled at working effectively with cross functional teams in a matrix organization
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
This position may be filled at a higher grade based on the successful applicant's skills, education and experience.
Due to the nature of our work qualified candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
